Virtual Environments in Higher Education: An examination
and analysis of the use of virtual environments for learner engagement
and skill building in traditional and online distance education programs.
Web 2.0 and Other Emerging Technologies in Education: An
examination and analysis of the use of emerging technologies for learner
engagement and skill building in online distance education programs.
Accessibility in Higher Education: Examination of higher
education policies and practices when developing university Websites
and online programs for access by individuals with physical disabilities.
ePortfolios in Traditional and Online Programs: An examination
of the use of an ePortfolio component in online distance education
programs. Using an ePortfolio system built
upon an Apache Web server running in Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) mode,
students were able access and edit their ePortfolios from anywhere
in the world and faculty were able to access portfolios privately and provide advice.
